If you’ve been itching to play the original Borderlands on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, it looks like your time may be nigh. A new listing for a Game of the Year edition on consoles and PC has been spotted on the ESRB website.
This isn’t the first time that a modern-day Borderlands Game of the Year edition has been sighted, of course; it also popped up on the Korean Ratings Board last May.
A 2019 re-release for Borderlands would be particularly apt, given that developer Gearbox’s much-loved loot-and-shooter is (slightly terrifyingly) celebrating a decade since its Xbox 360 and PS3 launch this year, having initially emerged all the way back in October 2009. A PC version launched in 2010, when Borderlands’ first Game of Year edition arrived.
