Ghost of Tsushima physical sales beat last year’s Days Gone

PlayStation and Nintendo exclusives Ghost of Tsushima and Paper Mario: The Origami King have both sold well on their launch in the UK – though PlayStation’s exclusive shifted four times the physical copies of Nintendo’s own title.

Both games arrived in the UK last Friday. Neither troubled their respective platform’s biggest launches for the year – The Last of Us: Part 2 (2020’s biggest game so far) and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, respectively.

But there’s plenty to celebrate for each game. As a new IP launch, Ghosts sold slightly more physical copies than PlayStation’s Days Gone did last year (thanks, GamesIndustry.biz).
