Watch Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show here tonight at 7pm UK time, as we stare once again into the abyss and at the face of host Geoff Keighley.
The usual Cologne-based Gamescom is not happening this year, of course, due to the obvious difficulties of hosting 400,000 attendees all angry at Marvel’s Avengers. Instead, we get this final instalment in Keighley’s Summer of Gaming announcement saga, until it is rebooted and this awful summer starts all over again.
We’re expecting around two hours of gaming content, largely from titles you have heard the names of already. Do not expect many big surprises. Do expect updates on video games such as Fall Guys, Black Ops Cold War, Destiny 2, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Ratchet & Clank and Medal of Honor VR.
