As Fall Guys continues to take the world by storm, development team Mediatonic has outlined some of the upcoming plans it has for the fan-favourite, non-violent battle royale, but acknowledges that “it’ll take us a little while to figure out” how it can implement features like custom lobbies and crossplay.
“It’s still early days, but it’s something we hear a desire for,” Mediatonic’s Joe Walsh told The Loadout when asked about custom modes, such as private lobbies. “Fall Guys is ultimately a TV show, and people want to be the director, they want to run their own show. We totally hear the demand for that, but it’ll take us a little while to figure out what that looks like exactly. But it’s on our list of things to do.”
As for the introduction of crossplay to unite PC and PS4 players?
