Borderlands 3 is coming to both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 with some cool new features, Gearbox announced during PAX Online tonight.
First up, the looter shooter has a free next-gen upgrade that applies to all content you’ve bought, as well as your saves. Basically, you carry everything over to the next-gen.
Borderlands 3 runs at 60 frames per second and in 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in single-player, Gearbox stressed. The next-gen versions also include two local co-op features, free for all players: four-player split-screen (a first for the series), and, when playing two-player co-op, you have the option to divide the screen horizontally or vertically.
