When Leeds United were promoted to the Premier League last season, ending a run of 16 years outside the top flight of English football, fans thought that the team’s famous ground, Elland Road would surely be recreated in FIFA 21 – it would have been the first time Elland Road appeared in an EA Sports FIFA game.
But it is not to be. Not yet, anyway.
EA announced the full list of stadiums in FIFA 21, and remarkably, Elland Road is not in the game at launch. In a blog post, EA put this down to last season ending much later than planned. However, it did hint at Elland Road being added to FIFA 21 at some point post-launch.
