SNK has delayed King of Fighters 15 to the first quarter of 2022, it’s announced. The fighting game was due out at some point this year.
In a message to fans, producer Yasuyuki Oda said the ongoing struggle with coronavirus in Japan had set development back.
“The development timeline we set out to reach in the beginning has been affected by the ever-still rising cases of COVID-19 within Japan,” Oda said.
