Bungie has delayed the launch of Destiny 2’s upcoming Beyond Light expansion from its previously announced September release date to November, citing a ‘challenging’ few months.
Beyond Light forms the first instalment in a planned trilogy of new expansions, and revolves around the arrival of the mysterious Darkness via a fleet of Pyramid ships heading toward Earth. It sees the return of Destiny 1’s Exo Stranger, and includes the new Stasis element, plus a raid known as the Deep Stone Crypt, situated beneath the frozen tundra of new destination Europa.
Bungie had originally set a 22nd September release date for Beyond Light, but the developer announced its plans to delay its launch in a new statement posted to the Destiny website.
