UK chain GAME has launched an eye-catching offer to get Xbox Series S for less than £100 when you trade-in a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
But, tellingly, GAME’s terms and conditions for this offer make it clear that this is only open to the public – and not to “trade” resellers looking for a quick profit.
“GAME reserves the right to refuse any offer to anyone believed to be representing a trade buyer/customer,” the chain states. In other words, if you manage a CEX, no telling your staff to go upgrade dozens of knackered Xbox Ones for Series S to just resell the newer consoles for profit. This may well apply if you’re an organised scalper, too.
