Seminal RPG series Baldur’s Gate is 20-years-old, and developer Beamdog will soon be bringing enhanced editions of the Baldur’s Gate series and other Dungeons & Dragons classics to consoles in celebration – and we now what they look like and when they’re due.

The full list of enhanced Dungeons & Dragons classics coming to consoles (Beamdog has been steadily releasing spruced-up versions on PC for years now) is actually quite a lengthy one. Enhanced editions of Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate 2, the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights will all be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch this “fall”.

And if you’re wondering what sort of enhancements are coming to consoles, Beamdog says to expect native support for high-resolution widescreen displays, optimisations for console controllers, new characters and classes, new voice sets, expanded character creation options, improved multiplayer functionality, UI and UX redesigns, new standalone content, plus various bug fixes and balance changes. There’s should be a more exhaustive list over on the official website soon.
