Ahead of tonight’s planned Monster Hunter World Spring Update livestream, Capcom has offered a sizeable new gameplay trailer showcasing the game’s previously announced Iceborne expansion, which now has a release date of September 6th.
I could probably just write the word NARGACUGA in massive letters and be done with it, but there’s a whole lot more on show in Iceborne’s beefy new trailer, which aired as part of Sony’s State of Play livestream. Alongside a glimpse of the snowy wastes that form Monster Hunter World’s new biome in Iceborne, the trailer offers a look at some of the new and returning beasts that fearless hunters will be up against, come September 6th.
Incidentally, it’s not entirely clear if Iceborne’s newly unveiled release date applies to PS4, Xbox One, and PC (for obvious reasons, the trailer made no reference to the latter two platforms), but I’ll update the story as soon as Capcom shares more.
